πλασιάζωμεν τὴν Α∠ οὖσαν μοῖραν α, ἐπὶ τὸ ἓν ξον, λέγω δὴ τὴν ΑΞ, ἔσται τὸ πρῶτον χωρίον τὸ ΑΟ ξ ἑνός· εἰ δὲ ἐπὶ τὰ β λεπτὰ τὰ ΑΞ, ΞΖ, ἔσται λεπτὰ ἤτοι ξξ β καὶ τὰ ἑξῆς· ὁμοίως οὖν καὶ μοῖρα ἐπὶ ἓν πρῶτον λεπτὸν ἢ δύο, ποιοῦσι πρῶτα, τῆς Α∠ ὑποτεθείσης μοίρας, ἓν ἢ δύο καὶ ἑξῆς.
