Ἑξάγωνον δὲ μετρήσομεν οὕτως. ἐὰν ἔχῃ τὴν διάμετρον ξ, ἡ δὲ πλευρὰ λ, ποιῶ οὕτως· τὰ λ ἐφʼ ἑαυτῇ, γίνονται ??· ταῦτα ποιῶ ἑξάκις, γίνονται ευ· ὧν τρίτον καὶ δέκατον, γίνονται βτμ· τοσοῦτον ἔσται τὸ ἑξάγωνον.
