Εὑρεῖν δὲ καὶ τοῦ περιγραφομένου κύκλου τὴν διάμετρον· ἔσται πόδες κϚ · ποιῶ δὲ οὕτως· τὰ κϚ πεντάκις, γίνονται ρλ· ὧν τὸ ιγʹ, ι· τοσοῦτον ἡ πλευρὰ ἑκάστη τοῦ ὀκταγώνου.
