Eὑρεῖν δὲ ἀπὸ τῆς διαμέτρου καὶ τῆς καθέτου τὴν διάμετρον ὅλης τῆς σφαίρας. τῆς βάσεως τὸ U+2220ʹ ἐφʼ ἑαυτό, γίνονται λῶ· ταύτην μέριζε παρὰ τὴν κάθετον, παρὰ τὰ δ, γίνονται θ· μῖξον ὁμοῦ μετὰ τὰ δ, γίνονται ιγ· τοσοῦτον ἔσται ἡ διάμετρος τῆς σφαίρας.
