Ὁμοίως καὶ ἐπὶ οἱουδήποτε πολυγώνου, ἐὰν δοθῇ σοι ἡ διάμετρος, πάντοτε καθολικῶς τριπλασίαζε τὴν διάμετρον, καὶ τὰ συναχθέντα μέριζε παρὰ τὴν ὀνομασίαν τῶν πολυγώνων, καὶ ἕξεις τὴν πλευρὰν τοσοῦτον ἀποφήνασθαι.
