Τριῶν κύκλων ἁπτομένων ἀλλήλων, εὑρεῖν τοῦ μέσου σχήματος τὸ ἐμβαδόν· ἔστωσαν δὲ αὐτῶν αἱ διάμετροι ἀνᾶ ζ. ποίει οὕτως· τὴν διάμετρον ἐφʼ ἑαυτήν, γίνονται μθ· ταῦτα δίς, γίνονται ??η· τούτων τὸ ιδʹ, γίνονται ζ· ἔσται τὸ ἐμβαδὸν τοσοῦτον.
