Εὑρεῖν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν ἐπιφάνειαν· τῆς βάσεως τὸ ἥμισυ ἐφʼ ἑαυτό, γίνονται λϚ· καὶ τὴν κάθετον, ἐφʼ ἑαυτά, γίνονται πα· ὁμοῦ γίνονται ριζ· ταῦτα τετράκις, γίνονται υξη· ταῦτα ἑνδεκάκις, γίνονται ερμη· τούτων τὸ ιδʹ, τξζ U+2220΄. τοσοῦτον ἡ ἐπιφάνεια τοῦ μείζονος τμήματος τοῦ ἡμισφαιρίου.
