Καὶ ἔστω σφαίρας ἡ περίμετρος ιη, εὑρεῖν αὐτοῦ τὸ στερεόν. ποιῶ οὕτως· ὡς ἐπὶ τῶν κύκλων, τὰ ιη ἐπὶ τὰ ζ, γίνονται ρκϚ· καὶ τούτων τὸ κβʹ, ἑ καὶ ἑνδέκατα η· ταῦτα ἑνδεκάκις, γίνονται ξγ· ταῦτα κύβισοκ, γίνονται κε καὶ μζ· ταῦτα μέριζε παρὰ τὰ βφμα, γίνονται ??η δʹια λγ μδ ρκαʹ τξγ΄.
