137 γιγγίδιον· φύεται μὲν τὸ πλεῖστον ἐν Κιλικίᾳ τε καὶ Συρίᾳ. βοτάνιον σταφυλίνῳ ἐοικὸς ἀγρίῳ, λεπτότερον δὲ καὶ πικρότερον, ῥίζαν ὑπόλευκον, πικρὰν ἔχον. λαχανεύεται δὲ ὠμόν τε καὶ ἑφθόν, καὶ ταριχευθὲν ἐσθίεται. ἔστι δὲ εὐστόμαχον, οὐρητικόν.
