152 σκόρδου τὸ μέν ἐστιν ἥμερον καὶ κηπευτόν, καὶ τοῦτο ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ μονοκέφαλον καὶ λευκόν. καλοῦσι δὲ τὰς ἐν αὐτῷ ῥᾶγας ἄγλιθας. ἔστι δὲ καὶ ἄλλο ἄγριον, ἀφιόσκορδον καλούμενον. δύναμιν δὲ ἔχει δριμεῖαν, θερμαντικήν, ἐκκριτικὴν φυσῶν καὶ κοιλίας ταρακτικήν, ξηραντικὴν στομάχου καὶ δίψης ποιητικήν, ἑλκωτικὴν τῶν ἐν τῇ ἐπιφανείᾳ σωμάτων.
