154 σἰνηπι ἢ νᾶπυ· ἐκλέγου τὸ μὴ κατάξηρον καὶ απυρόν, ἁδρὸν δὲ καὶ θλασθὲν ἔνδοθεν χλωρὸν καὶ οἱονεὶ ἔγχυλον, γλαυκόν· πρόσφατον γὰρ καὶ ἀκμαῖον τὸ τοιοῦτον. δύναται δὲ θερμαίνειν, λεπτύνειν, ἐπισπᾶσθαι, ἀποφλεγματίζειν διαμασηθέν. μιγεὶς δὲ ὁ χυλὸς αὐτοῦ ὑδρομέλιτι ἢ οἰνομέλιτι πρὸς ἀντιάδας καὶ τὰς χρονίους τραχύτητας τῆς ἀρτηρίας καὶ τυλώδεις ἀναγαργαριζόμενος ἁρμόζει.
