ἀνάγει δὲ καὶ ὀστᾶ καὶ σκόλοπας καὶ πᾶν βέλος 2 ἐπισπᾶται μετά ἀπονίας, μιγέντος αὐτῇ χαλκοῦ ἄνθους μέρους τρίτου καὶ κενταυρείου ῥίζης μέρους πέμπτου καὶ μέλιτος τοῦ αὐτάρκους· θεραπεύει δὲ καὶ οἰδήματα καὶ φλεγμονάς καταπλασσομένη μετ᾿ ὄξους. πίνεται δὲ καὶ πρὸς σπάσματα, ῥήγματα, ἰσχιάδας, στραγγουρίας, διαρροίας ἡ ῥίζα μετά γλυκέος τεθαλασσωμένου. ὁ δὲ καρπὸς οὐρητικώτατος ὅσον τριώβολον ποθεὶς σὺν οἴνῳ, τήκει δὲ καὶ σπλῆνα σὺν ὄξει ποθείς.
