117 λωτὸς τὸ δένδρον φυτόν ἐστιν εὐμέγεθες, καρπὸν δὲ φέρει μείζονα πεπέρειως, γλυκύν, βρώσιμον, εὐστόμαχον, κοιλίας στεγνωτικόν. τῶν δὲ πρισμάτων τοῦ ξύλου τὸ ἀφέψημα πινόμενον καὶ ἐγκλυζόμενον βοηθεῖ δυσεντερικοῖς καὶ γυναιξὶ ῥοικαῖς. ξανθίζει δὲ καὶ τρίχας καὶ ἐπέχει δεούσας.
