ἑψηθὲν δὲ μετʼ ὄξους δριμέως, ὄν τρόπον ὠμὴ λύσις, καὶ θερμὸν ἐπιτιθέμενον λέπρας ὑγιάζει. χυλωθὲν δὲ σὺν ὕδατι τὸ ἄλευρον ἑψηθέν τε σὺν πίσσῃ καὶ ἐλαίῳ ἐστὶ πυοποιόν, σὺν ὄξει δὲ χυλωθὲν καὶ ἑψηθὲν μετὰ πίσσης πρὸς τὰ τῶν ἄρθρων ῥεύματα ἁρμόζει. τὸ δὲ ἐξ αὐτῶν ἄλφιτον κοιλίας σταλτικὸν καὶ φλεγμονῶν πραυντικόν.
