18. (29). Τὰς σιτήσεις ποιοῦ μὴ πολυτελεῖς καὶ σκυθρωπάς, ἀλλὰ λαμπρὰς καὶ εὐτελεῖς, ἵνα μήτε διὰ τὰ σωματικὰ αἱ ψυχαὶ ταράττωνται μήτε φενακιζόμεναι πρὸς τῶν ἡδονῶν τῶν σωματικῶν ὀλιγωρῶσιν, ἔπειτα βλάπτωνται τρυφῶντα μὲν παραυτίκα, νοσοῦντα δὲ εἰσαῦθις τὰ σώματα.
