ἡμῶν μὴ ἐναντίας ἀνατολῆς καὶ δύσεως βουλόμεθά τι συνάψαι φάσμα τούτοις ἐνπερινενοημένον, ἐκ τοῦ ὑποκειμένου ληπτέον φοράν τινα τῆι διανοίαι ἡλίου καὶ σελήνης εἰς ἀνατολὴν καὶ δύσιν, καὶ τὴν αὐτήν, φασί, γιγνομένην ἐναντίως φατέον ἔχειν. κατά γε δὴ τὸ ὑποκείμενον καθ’ ἑαυτὸ καὶ μὴ πρὸς ἡμᾶς ἑτέρωθι μέντοι ἄλλας καὶ ἄλλας εἶναι
