ταύτην δὲ αὐθις ὀπίσω τρέψαντες, ὥσπερ δράκοντος κεφαλὴν ξύλῳ τῆς πίστεως καὶ τῆς ἀληθείας ἐπὶ γῆς λακίσαντες, ταῖς ἄλλαις θηριομόρφοις προσπελάσαντες ἐπ' ὀλέθρῳ * τούτων ἤσκειν ἑαυτοὺς διὰ τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν ἀναγκάσωμεν.
