Τὸν δ' ἕλεν ἀμφασίη ῥιπῇ στιβαροῖο σόλοιο,
Αἰήτην. οἳ δ' ὥστε θοοὶ κύνες ἀμφιθορόντες
ἀλλήλους βρυχηδὸν ἐδήιον· οἳ δ' ἐπὶ γαῖαν
μητέρα πῖπτον ἑοῖς ὑπὸ δούρασιν ἠύτε πεῦκαι
ἢ δρύες, ἅς τ' ἀνέμοιο κατάικες δονέουσιν.
