κατολοφύρομαι σὲ τὸν χερνίβων
ῥανίσι μελόμενον αἱμακταῖς.
οἶκτος γὰρ οὐ ταῦτʼ, ἀλλὰ χαίρετʼ, ὦ ξέναι.
σὲ δὲ τύχας μάκαρος, ὦ
νεανία, σεβόμεθʼ, ἐς
πάτραν ὅτι ποτʼ ἐπεμβάσῃ.
ἄζηλά τοι φίλοισι, θνῃσκόντων φίλων.
