ἰώ, γύναι, δεινὸν ἔργον ἐξειργάσω.
ἀπωλόμην δύστηνος, Ἀργείων κόραι.
ἒ ἔ, σχέτλια τάδε παθών,
τὸ πάντολμον ἔργον ὄψῃ τάλας.
οὐκ ἄν τινʼ εὕροιτʼ ἄλλον ἀθλιώτερον.
