4. Ἀνθρώποισι ἔριδες προσφιλέες, καὶ τοῦ περὶ παντὸς τοῦ προτεθέντος ἀντιλέγοντας ἐθέλειν κρατέειν ἄπλετος καὶ ἄλογος ἐπιθυμίη· ὁκότε πολλοὶ οὐκ αἰδέονται καὶ κατὰ τῶν σπουδαιεστάτων καὶ τῶν οὐ χρὴ τῷ χείρονι λόγῳ νικᾶν, νικῶντες ἀξίην κεκλῆσθαι νίκην Καδμηΐην.
