Ἐλυτρώσατο δὲ καὶ τοὺς πάλαι ὑπὸ τῶν ἀντικειμένων ἐχθρῶν καὶ πονηρῶν δυνάμεων δεδουλωμένους ἡμᾶς. Τήρει δέ, ὅτι δι’ ὅλου τοῦ ψαλμοῦ οὐδαμοῦ τοῦ Ἰουδαίων ἔθνους μνημονεύει, ἀλλ’ ἀπολύτως καὶ ἀδιορίστως ἁπάντων τῶν ὑπὸ τοῦ κυρίου λυτρωθησομένων καὶ συναχθησομένων ἐξ ἁπάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν, δι’ ὧν σαφέστατα ἡ διὰ Χριστοῦ κλῆσις τῶν ἐθνῶν θεσπίζεται.
