ὅτε 〈δὲ〉 τοὺς μὲν ἐχθροὺς ὑπὸ πόδας θήσει, τοὺς δὲ τῆς αὐτοῦ βασιλείας ἀξίους ἐν ἀτελευτήτῳ ζωῇ καταστήσει, τηνικαῦτα [γὰρ] καὶ ὁ πάντων ἐχθρὸς θάνατος ἔσχατος καταργηθήσεται· μηδενὸς γὰρ θνήσκοντος ἔτι, ἐν αἰωνίῳ δὲ ζωῇ ζησομένων τότε τῶν τῆς βασιλείας ἀξίων. τὸν θάνατον ἀργήσειν εἰκὸς μηκέτ’ ἔχοντα οὓς θανατώσειεν.
