τούτῳ δὲ τῆς κατὰ Μαρκίωνα πλάνης ἐπίσκοπός τις εἶναι δοκῶν Ἀσκληπιὸς, ζήλῳ μὲν, ὡς ᾤετο, εὐσεβείας, ἀλλ’ οὔτι γε τῆς κατ’ ἐπίγνωσιν, ὅμως δ’ οὖν μιᾷ· καὶ τῇ αὐτῇ πυρᾷ τὸν βίον συνεξελήλυθεν. ἀλλὰ ταῦτα μὲν ταύτῃ.
