ἀλλὰ τοῦτο μὲν ὁδοῦ πάρεργον ἡμῖν εἰρήσθω· γένοιτο δ᾿ ἂν προσήκων καιρὸς, ἐν ᾧ τῶν δυσσεβῶν, οἳ μάλιστα καθ᾿ ἡμῶν ἐστρατεύσαντο, αὐτοῦ τε τοῦ Μαξιμίνου καὶ τῶν ἀμφ᾿ αὐτὸν τὰ τέλη καὶ τῶν βίων τὰς καταστροφὰς ὁ λόγος ἡμῖν ἐπὶ σχολῆς περιλήψεται.
