τὸ ἐπὶ τούτῳ μαρτύριον πῶς ἂν κατ’ ἀξίαν διέλθοιμι, οὗ κατηξίω τᾶι ὁ τρισμακάριος Παῦλος, κατὰ μὲν τὴν αὐτὴν ταύταις ὥραν ὑπὸ μίαν ἀπόφασιν τὴν ἐπὶ θανάτῳ κριθεὶς, πρὸς αὐτῇ δὲ τῇ τελειώσει τὸν ἀποτέμνειν αὐτὸν ὅσον οὔπω μέλλοντα βραχύ τι ὥρας ἐνδοῦναι αὐτῷ ἀντιβολήσας·
