Διεκόπη μὲν ἐν τῇ Βαβυλῶνι ἡ φλὸξ τοῦ πυρὸς ** διακοπεῖσα τῷ προστάγματι τοῦ θεοῦ· ἐδέξατο ... ἐν αὐτῇ, ἡδίστην ἀναπνοὴν καὶ ἀναψυχήν, ὥσπερ ἐν σκιᾷ τινι φυτῶν, ἐν εἰρηνικῇ καταστάσει παρεχομένη τοῖς παισίν· ἐγένετο γάρ, φησί, «ὡσεὶ πνεῦμα δρόσου διασυρίζον».
