Ὅτι δυτικώτεροι Κόλχων καὶ Φάσιδος Εὐξείνου περὶ χεῖλος ἰλαδὸν οἱ Βύζηρες, ἀφ' ὧν καὶ λιμὴν Βυζηρικὸς, καὶ οἱ Βέχειρες, Ποντικὸν ἔθνος καὶ Σκυθικὸν, ἔτι δὲ καὶ οἱ Μάκρωνες καὶ οἱ Μοσύνοικοι καὶ οἱ Τιβαρηνοὶ καὶ οἱ Χάλυβες, περὶ ὧν κάτω λελέξεται.
