Πάλιν δίχα ἡ ὑπὸ ΗΕΓ τῇ ΘΕ· διὸ τὸ αὐτὰ ἄρα ἡ ΕΓ πρὸς ΓΘ μείζονα λόγον ἔχει ἢ ὃν αρξβ η΄ πρὸς ρνγ | Γίνεται γὰρ διὰ τὴν διχοτομίαν τῆς γωνίας ὡς ἡ ΗΕ πρὸς ΕΓ, ἡ ΗΘ πρὸς ΘΓ. Καὶ συνθέντι ὡς συναμφότερος ἡ ΗΕ, ΕΓ πρὸς ΕΓ, ἡ ΗΓ πρὸς ΓΘ, καὶ ἐναλλὰξ ὡς συναμφότερος ἡ ΗΕ, ΕΓ πρὸς ΗΓ, ἡ ΕΓ πρὸς ΓΘ. Καὶ ἔστιν ἡ μὲν ΕΓ φοᾱ καὶ ἔτι μορίου τινός, ἡ δὲ ΕΗ φϥᾱ η΄ καὶ ἔτι μορίου τινός· μείζονες ἄρα εἰσὶν ἢ ᾱρξβ η΄. Καὶ ἔστιν ἡ ΗΓ ρνγ· συναμφότερος ἄρα ἡ ΗΕ, ΕΓ πρὸς ΗΓ μείζονα λόγον ἔχει ἤπερ ᾱρξβ η΄ πρὸς ρνγ.
