Ἔτι δίχα ἡ ὑπὸ ΘΕΓ τῇ ΕΚ· ἡ ΕΓ ἄρα πρὸς ΓΚ μείζονα λόγον ἔχει ἢ βτλδ δ΄ πρὸς ρνγ | Πάλιν γὰρ διὰ τὴν διχοτομίαν τῆς ὑπὸ ΘΕΓ γωνίας ἐστὶν ὡς ἡ ΘΕ πρὸς ΕΓ, ἡ ΘΚ πρὸς ΓΚ. Καὶ συνθέντι ὡς συναμφότερος ἡ ΘΕ, ΕΓ πρὸς ΕΓ, ἡ ΘΓ πρὸς ΓΚ· ἐναλλὰξ ὡς συναμφότερος ἡ ΘΕ, ΕΓ πρὸς ΘΓ, ἡ ΕΓ πρὸς ΓΚ. Καὶ ἐπεὶ δέδεικται ἡ ΘΕ ᾱροβ η΄ καὶ ἔτι μορίου τινός, ἡ δὲ ΕΓ ᾱρξβ η΄ καὶ ἔτι μορίου τινός, συναμφότερος ἄρα ἡ ΘΕ, ΕΓ μείζων ἐστὶν ἢ βτλδ δ΄. Καὶ ὑπόκειται ἡ ΘΓ ρνγ. Συναμφότερος ἄρα ἡ ΘΕ, ΕΓ πρὸς ΘΓ μείζονα λόγον ἔχει ἤπερ βτλδ δ΄ πρὸς ρνγ.
