Πειραθῆναι μὲν γὰρ χρὴ μόνων τῶν ἀμίκτων καὶ ἔξω πάσης ἐπικτήτου ποιότητος. ἐπὶ μὲν γὰρ τῆς ἀρίστης κατασκευῆς τοῦ σώματος πρῶτον, ἐφεξῆς δὲ κᾀπὶ τῶν δυσκράτων, εἶθ’ οὕτως ἐπὶ τῶν ἁπλῶν νοσημάτων, ὡς ἔν τε τῷ πρὸ τούτου λόγῳ κᾀν τῷ τρίτῳ περὶ κράσεως διῄρηται, συλλογίζεσθαι δὲ τὸ κατὰ συμβεβηκὸς ἀεὶ διορίζοντας τοῦ πρώτως τε καὶ καθ’ αὑτό.
