[δ΄. Περὶ θέρμου ἀγρίου.] Θέρμος ἄγριος πικρότερος καὶ ἰσχυρότερος εἰς ἅπαντα τοῦ ἡμέρου ἐστὶ, τῆς αὐτῆς ὑπάρχων αὐτῷ κατὰ γένος δυνάμεως. [ε΄. Περὶ θλάσπεως.] Θλάσπι σπέρμα. δριμὺ καὶ τοῦτ’ ἔστι τὴν δύναμιν, ὥστε καὶ τὰ ἐντὸς ἀποστήματα ῥήσσει ποτιζόμενον καὶ καταμήνια κινεῖ καὶ ἔμβρυα κτείνει καὶ δι’ ἕδραν ἐνιέμενον ἰσχιάδας ὀνίνησιν αἱματώδη κενοῦν. ἔστι γὰρ καὶ ἄλλως καθαρτικὸν ἄνω τε καὶ κάτω χολωδῶν, ὀξυβάφου πλῆθος πινόμενον.
