[ζ΄. Περὶ θύμου.] Θύμος τέμνει καὶ θερμαίνει σαφῶς, διὰ τοῦτο καὶ οὖρα καὶ καταμήνια κινεῖ καὶ ἔμβρυα κατασπᾷ καὶ τὰ σπλάγχνα διακαθαίρει πινομένη, ταῖς τε ἐκ θώρακος καὶ πνεύμονος ἀναγωγαῖς συναίρεται. καὶ τοίνυν ἔν τε τῷ ξηραίνειν. καὶ θερμαίνειν ἐν τῇ τρίτῃ τάξει θετέον αὐτήν.
