[μθ΄. Περὶ κράμβης ἀγρίας.] Κράμβη ἀγρία θερμοτέρα καὶ ξηροτέρα τῆς ἡμέρου τὴν κρᾶσίν ἐστιν, ὥσπερ καὶ τὰ ἄλλα σύμπαντα σχεδόν τι τὰ ἄγρια τῶν ὁμογενῶν ἡμέρων ἰσχυρότερα κατ’ ἀμφοτέρας ἐστὶ τὰς δυνάμεις. ὅθεν οὐδ’ ἐντὸς τοῦ σώματος ἀλύπως λαμβάνεται ποῤῥωτέρω τῆς ἀνθρωπίνης κράσεως ἀποκεχωρηκυῖα. δι’ αὐτὸ δὲ τοῦτο καὶ πικροτέρα γευομένοις ἐστὶ τῆς ἡμέρου. ἔχει μὲν γάρ τι καὶ ἡ ἥμερος ὑπόπικρον καὶ δριμὺ, ἀλλ’ ἰσχυρὸν ἑκάτερον ἡ ἀγρία, διὸ καὶ διαφορεῖ καὶ ἀποῤῥύπτει τῆς ἡμέρου σφοδρότερον.
