Περὶ λυσιμαχίου.] Λυσιμάχιος ἐπικρατοῦσαν ἔχει τὴν στυπτικὴν ποιότητα, δι’ ἣν καὶ τραύματα κολλᾷ καὶ τὰς ἐκ μυκτήρων αἱμοῤῥαγίας ἵστησιν ἐμπλασσόμενος, καὶ τῶν ἄλλων δὲ αἱμοῤῥαγιῶν ἴσχαιμόν ἐστι φάρμακον, αὐτή τε καὶ ὁ χυλὸς αὐτῆς, ἔτι καὶ μᾶλλον καὶ πινομένη δυσεντερίας τε καὶ αἵματος ἀναγωγὰς καὶ ῥοῦν γυναικεῖον ἰᾶται. [κβ΄. Περὶ λυχνίδος.] Λυχνίδος τῆς εἰς τοὺς στεφάνους τὸ σπέρμα θερμόν ἐστι κατὰ τὴν δευτέραν που τάξιν ἢ καὶ τρίτην ἤδη, καὶ δὴ καὶ ξηρὸν κατὰ τὸν αὐτὸν τρόπον.
