[κδ΄. Περὶ μυάγρου.] Μυάγρου τὸ σπέρμα λιπαρόν ἐστιν, ὥστ’ εἰ καὶ θλασθείη, μεθείη ἐλαιῶδές τι δυνάμεως ἐμπλαστικῆς ὑπάρχον. [κε΄. Περὶ μυκήτων.] Μύκης ψυχρὸν καὶ ὑγρὸν ἱκανῶς φυτὸν, ὅθεν καὶ δηλητηρίου δυνάμεως ἐγγὺς ἥκει. καί τινές γε ἐξ αὐτῶν καὶ ἀναιροῦσι, καὶ μάλισθ’ ὅσοι τὴν φύσιν ἐπίμικτον ἔχουσιν σηπεδονώδει τινὶ ποιότητι. [κστ΄. Περὶ μύλης.] Μύλης ἡ ῥίζα μικρῷ βολβῷ παραπλήσιος ὑπάρχουσα συνακτικῆς ἐστι δυνάμεως, ὥστε καὶ μετὰ αἰρίνου ἀλεύρου προστιθεμένην αὐτὴν ἀνεστομωμένην μήτραν ἰᾶσθαί φησι Διοσκορίδης. [κζ΄. Περὶ μυὸς ὠτός.] Μυὸς ὠτίς. ἔνιοι δὲ μυὸς ὦτα. ξηραίνει μὲν κατὰ τὴν δευτέραν τάξιν, θερμότητα δ’ οὐδεμίαν ἐπιφανῆ κέκτηται.
