[κθ΄. Περὶ μυριοφύλλου.] Μυριόφυλλον ξηραντικῆς ἐστιν εἰς τοσοῦτο δυνάμεως ὡς κολλᾷν τραύματα. [λ΄. Περὶ μύῤῥιδος.] Μύῤῥις, ἔνιοι δὲ μύῤῥαν ὀνομάζουσιν, εὐώδη καὶ γλυκεῖαν ἔχει τὴν ῥίζαν, ἐπιμηνίων τε κινητικὴ, καὶ τῶν ἐκ θώρακος καὶ πνεύμονος ἀνακαθαρτικὴ, ὥστ’ εἴη ἂν ἐκ τῆς δευτέρας τῶν θερμαινόντων τάξεως, ἔχουσά τι καὶ λεπτομερές.
