[λβ΄. Περὶ μώλυος.] Μῶλυ. τινὲς τοῦτο πήγανον ἄγριον ὀνομάζουσιν, ἔνιοι δὲ ἅρμολαν, Σύροι δὲ βησασὰν, ὥσπερ δὴ καὶ οἱ Καππαδόκαι μῶλυ, διότι τῇ ῥίζῃ μέν ἐστι μέλαν, ἄνθος δ’ ἔχει γαλακτῶδες. ἡ δύναμις δ’ αὐτοῦ λεπτομερής τ’ ἐστὶ καὶ θερμὴ κατὰ τὴν τρίτην ἀπόστασιν, ὅθεν καὶ τέμνει τοὺς παχεῖς καὶ γλίσχρους χυμοὺς καὶ διαφορεῖ καὶ ἐπ’ οὔρησιν προτρέπει.
