[α΄. Περὶ παγκρατίου.] Παγκράτιον. ἡ ῥίζα τούτου σκίλλῃ κατά τε τὴν γεῦσιν ἔοικεν καὶ κατὰ τὴν δύναμιν, ὥστε καὶ χρῶνταί. τινες αὐτῷ μὴ παρούσης σκίλλης. ἐνεργεῖ γὰρ ἅπαντα κατὰ γένος μὲν ὡσαύτως, ἀσθενεστέρα δὲ μακρῷ.
