[ιδ΄. Περὶ περιστερεῶνος.] Περιστερεὼν, ὠνόμασται μὲν ἀπὸ τοῦ τὰς περιστερὰς διατρίβειν ἐν αὐτῷ. δύναμιν δ’ εἰς τοσοῦτον ἔχει ξηραντικὴν, ὡς κολλᾷν τραύματα. [ιε΄. Περὶ πετασίτου.] Πετασίτης ἐκ τῆς τρίτης τάξεώς ἐστι τῶν ξηραινόντων, ὅθεν ἐπί τε τῶν κακοήθων καὶ φαγεδαινικῶν ἑλκῶν αὐτῇ χρῶνται.
