[στ΄. Περὶ ὑπηκόου.] Ὑπήκοον ψυκτικῆς ἐστι δυνάμεώς, ἐκ τῆς τρίτης που τάξεως τῶν ψυχόντων, ὡς μήκωνος ὀλίγον ἀποδεῖν. [ζ΄. Περὶ ὑπογλώσσου.] Ὑπόγλωσσον ὠνόμασται μὲν οὕτως, ὅτι παραφύσεις ὑπ’ ἄκροις τοῖς κορύμβοις ποιεῖται γλωσσαρίων. ἔστι δ’ ἡ ῥίζα καὶ ὁ χυλὸς τοῦ θαμνίσκου μαλακτικῆς δυνάμεως. [η΄. Περὶ ὑσσώπου.] Ὕσσωπον θερμαίνει καὶ ξηραίνει κατὰ τὴν τρίτην τάξιν, ἔστι δὲ καὶ λεπτομερές.
