[ιβ΄. Περὶ χρυσοκόμης.] Χρυσοκόμη, καλεῖται δὲ καὶ χρυσίτης· τὴν δριμεῖαν ἅμα καὶ στύφουσαν ἐπικρατούσας ἔχει ποιότητας ἡ ῥίζα, διὸ μηδὲ πολύχρηστός ἐστιν. ἥ γε μὴν χρῆσις αὐτῆς ἐν μελικράτῳ καθεψηθείσης ἐν περιπνευμονίαις τε καὶ ἡπατικοῖς νοσήμασιν. ἔχει δέ τι καὶ τῆς ἐμμήνου καθάρσεως προτρεπτικόν.
