ἔχει δέ τι τμητικὸν καὶ ὅσα νιτρῶδες ἢ ἁλμυρῶδες ἐν τῇ γεύσει προσφέρει, πρὸς τῷ καὶ τὴν γαστέρα τὰ πλεῖστα τῶν τοιούτων ὑπάγειν· οὐχ ἧττον δὲ τὰ πικρὰ λεπτυνούσης ἐστὶ δυνάμεως, ὅθεν καὶ τὰ πλεῖστα τῶν τοιούτων ἕψοντες ἐσθίουσιν.
