αὐτὴ γὰρ ἡ φύσις ἡγεῖται καὶ διδάσκει τὸ ποιητέον οὐ μόνον τούς τι σοφώτερον ἐπισταμένους ἀλλὰ καὶ τοὺς ἰδιώτας· καὶ ἔγωγε πολλάκις συνεχῶς χρῆσθαι τοῖς τοιούτοις ὑποτρίμμασιν ἐκέλευον <ἂν> οἷς μέλει διαίτης, εἰ μὴ τῆς σαρκὸς τῶν φοινίκων ἐμίγνυον αὐτοῖς ἔνιοι τῶν ὀψοποιῶν πάμπολυ.
