βούκερας δὲ καὶ τῆλις — ἑκατέρως γάρ ὀνομάζεται — λαμβάνεται μὲν οὐ κακῶς καὶ πρὸ τῶν σιτίων ὑπαγωγῆς ἕνεκα γαστρὸς ἅμα τῷ γάρῳ, προσφέρονται δὲ καί τινες καὶ τὸν χυλὸν αὐτῆς μετὰ μέλιτος ὧς καὶ θερμαίνειν καὶ ῥύπτειν δυνάμενον· καὶ ἔστι μὲν ἐς ἄμφω ταῦτα ἀγαθή, φυλάττεσθαι δ’ ἐπὶ πλέον ταύτῃ χρῆσθαι· κεφαλαλγὴς γάρ ἐστι.
