καίτοι ξηροτέρα τὴν κρασὶν ἡ τρυγών ἐστι καὶ μάλισθ’ ἡ ὀρεία, ὥστε τὴν τοιαύτην κἂν ἀλύπως ἐσθίοι τις· χρὴ δὲ μὴ πρόσφατον ἀλλ’ ἕωλον ἐργασάμενον ἡμέρᾳ ’μῷ <τούλάχιστον> οὕτως ἐσθίειν οὐ τρυγόνα μόνον ἀλλὰ καὶ πέρδικα τἄλλα πάντα τὰ μετρίως σκληράν ἔχοντα τὴν σάρκα.
