Ἐπὶ ὀστέῳ νοσήσαντι σὰρξ πελιδνὴ κακόν. Οὐ γὰρ ἐπὶ μετρίαις βλάβαις ὀστῶν, ἀλλὰ ταῖς ἰσχυραῖς σηπέδοσι τὸ τοιοῦτον εἶδος τῆς χρόας ἐγγίνεται περικειμέναις σαρξὶ, σβεννυμένης δηλονότι τῆς κατὰ φύσιν θερμασίας ἐν αὐτοῖς.
