Κοιλίαι ταραχώδεες τοῖσι πλείστοισι τούτων, διαχωρήμασιν ὠμοῖσι, πολλοῖσι, λεπτοῖσι. Εὔδηλον μὲν κᾀκ τούτων ἐστὶν ὡς οὐ προσέχει τῇ τῶν διαχωρημάτων ἰδέᾳ κατὰ τὴν τῶν καυσωδῶν νοσημάτων διάγνωσιν. ὠμὰ γοῦν ἔφη καὶ λεπτὰ καὶ διαχωρούμενα τοῖς τότε καυσουμένοις γίνεσθαι, μήτε χολωδῶν ἀκράτων μήτε συντήξεων μνημονεύσας, ἅ τινες οἴονται μέγιστα γνωρίσματα καύσων εἶναι πυρετῶν.
