Τοὺς γυμναζομένους χρὴ χειμῶνος καὶ τρέχειν καὶ παλαίειν, τοῦ θέρεος παλαίειν μὲν ὀλίγα, τρέχειν δὲ μὴ, περιπα- τέειν δὲ πολλὰ κατὰ ψῦχος. Γυμνασίων διαφορὰς οἰκείων ταῖς ὥραις διδάσκει, τοῦ μὲν χειμῶνος θερμαίνειν καὶ ξηραίνειν δυναμένων, τοῦ δὲ θέρους ἔμπαλιν.
