ὅτι μεταβολὴ ταχεῖα τοῦ πέριξ ἀέρος, ὅταν γε ᾖ πεφωτισμένος ὑπὸ τῶν χρωμάτων, γίνεται. καὶ τούτων γέ ἐστιν πρώτως ἡ ὄψις αἰσθητική, δευτέρως δὲ τοῦ συνεμφαίνεσθαι τὸ μέγεθος τοῦ κεχρωσμένου σώματος, ὥσπερ γε καὶ τὸ σχῆμα καὶ τὸ μεταξὺ διάστημα καὶ τὴν πρὸς τὰ παρακείμενα κοινωνίαν.
